Instructions for Use of RV Worm Gear Reducers
When operating outdoors, make sure to take adequate measures to protect the RV worm gear reducer from sun exposure, impacts, and rain.
The RV worm gear reducer should be placed on a flat or rigid support surface, and all foreseeable vibrations in the surrounding area should be avoided. It is best to pre-tighten the anchor bolts using washers.
The RV worm gear reducer housing should contain sufficient lubricating oil, and the oil level should be checked regularly.
The RV worm gear reducer series features a standard design and is intended for use in environments where the ambient temperature does not exceed +40℃. When mounting a pinion, coupling, or pulley onto the output shaft end of an RV worm gear reducer, the press-fit method using the threaded hole at the shaft end must be employed; hammering is strictly prohibited. Mixing synthetic oils with mineral oils should be avoided. The input speed of the worm gear should not exceed 1500 r/min. During the initial 150 hours of operation, the lubricant should be replaced. After passing the trial run, the oil change interval should be approximately 4,000 hours.
